No doubt the best feature on my bike. When I think of all the money I have spent on my bike, by far the best bang for the buck. And I won't own another one without ABS.
Ban cell phones too and mlnivans are the ones too really look out for. Those young moms are nuts behind the wheel! Lol....Btw moms have a Happy Mothers Day!
ABS must suck the confidence right out of the majority of riders that have it.
Other than the handful of nuetral and/or negative opinions you'll read about ABS here on this forum, the majority are like this thread where the participants state that ABS saved them from crashing.
Why is it that these folks don't think they could have avoided whatever they are trying to avoid without crashing - with or without ABS?

You're right, I should not have put myself in that situation to start with, if I had stayed further back or had anticipated that she was an idiot I would not have needed ABS. While I can assure you that ABS has not given me any sense of invincibility, I am sure glad that I had it when I wasn't quite as smart as I should have been!
i disagree. abs is a tool, and like any other tool, should be used for its intended purpose. just because one has abs on a bike, does not mean that they should just completely throw out everything they've learned about riding. but you never know when that one unexpected thing is gonna happen, and when it does, odds are that you are gonna grab a handful and footful of brake, and the abs will be there to save you from yourself.
