Default Apes & Mirrors

So, for those of you running apes on your FL's with the mirrors mounted to the underside of the bars, did you swap out your mirrors or were you able to run with the stock ones?

If you swapped them out, what did you go with?

Thanks in advance for the information.

I run 14s on my crossbones with one mirror on my throttle side, upside down. I have 14s to go on the road glide, but not sure if i will flip the mirrors or not. On my RG, I am running the HD black buckshot mirrors. On the Crossbones is on of the HD domed black billet mirrors. All you do is move the left mirror to the right and vice versa if you are going to flip them.

I have 12.5" Wild 1 Chubby WO577 on my 2010 FLHX and still use my fairing mounted mirrors. I got the bars pushed forward as far as it can go without touching the fairing.

I have 16" ape's on my Deuce and 12.5" on my Street Glide. I just put on Ness mini-ovals and they are awesome. Very low profile at 1.5"x4" and I have them on the top of my bars.

I have the same bars and could still use my fairing mirrors but I hate my fairing mirrors so went with Ness Rad II bar mirrors (mounted on top) and then plugged the fairing holes with Yaffee Bagga Chips. Pricey but love the look. The Ness mirrors took a bit of getting used to but now that I have, they are fine.
