I placed an order for a Corbin Gunfighter seat for my Road King a few weeks ago and it arrived yesterday. I installed it and took a 100+ mile ride today and so far am impressed with the seat. I was going for a different look with the bomber jacket leather and also wanted a more streamlined seat that was still comfortable. The Corbin appears to be of high quality and I love the feel and smell of the real leather. I've had Corbin seats before so knew to expect it to be firm, which it is. These seats take some time to break in and even after only about 100 miles and a few hours in the saddle I can feel that it is getting more comfortable already. I'm looking forward to a long lasting relationship with my new Corbin.
That color is great! Love the stitching too. I've had Corbins on both my Buells and like you said they're firm seats, but I like them that way. And Corbin construction is top notch.
How much further back and down does the Gunfighter put you from stock? I have a Dual Tour- I wonder if the position is similar or not.
That bomber jacket brown is very nice.
My seat is the Gunfighter Close so it actually puts me forward not back. It also puts me closer to the ground. I did have a regular Corbin seat on another bike and it definitely pushed me back a bit and was probably about the same height as stock. Best bet is to check directly with Corbin customer service on the specific seat you're considering. They can also make it a custom fit for you based on what you're looking for.
I agree Corbins take time to beak in , I never had much luck with them I sold the 2 Gunfighter and Lady seats I tried on E Bay years ago
Thanks!. Just curious, did you buy your Corbin seats new off Ebay or where they used? I ask because if they were used then that would explain why they never felt comfortable to you since the foam in the seats would have molded to the prior riders seating position if they had enough time in the seat.
great looking seat. Reminds me of the King Ranch Edition Ford Truck seats. any thoughts on how it will work out for a passenger? It looks like it slopes down the behind the driver towards the tail, meaning a passenger would have the feeling of falling off the back.

Thanks! The passenger pillion definitely isn't made for any long hauling, but will do just fine for around town. There is plenty of padding, but it does get narrower and slopes down with the curve of the fender. I mostly ride solo anyway.
