Well that is a big horn, I hope it is as loud as it is large. As for switch relocation, it has been my experience with the snap switch mounted in the standard location that once it comes on it doesn't shut off until the bike has been shut down for a few minutes, just as yours does. Not that there is anything wrong with relocating the switch, but it really isn't necessary for those whose talent with a soldering gun isn't on par with yours. Great write up. Thanks.

Been running the Wards fans for a couple of years now. They work great!

I looked at the Jims, but did not like how it pushed air between the cylinders instead of across the hottest spots, right behind the plugs.

In all, I have over 70k miles running the Wards fans, heat, snow, rain, ice. Zero issues.

Kudos on the effort but your vibration isolator no longer isolates vibration, the horn and fan are basically mounted solid to the head bridge mount via the threaded rod, with the remaining body of the OEM isolator serving as a rubber spacer. Should have contacted me, I have an enhanced mount solution for MB horns.

quite the contrary Jason. Rubber bushing works just as it should, that whole assembly bounces around like nobody's business.

What is your other mounting solution for the MB horns please?

I tried to find the thread that shows it but it has eluded me. I don't really want to add too much about my stuff in this thread about another product.

I'd like to further this by stating that last Monday I sent Jason an email telling him that one of my fans stopped working. As it turns out, after I sent it to Jason he discovered why. My ingenious mounting method as Jason called me out on above was simply ****. The rear fan bounced into the rear jug (I assume by markings) and popped a clip off the motor and it shifted forward.

Anyways, emailed Jason he emailed me back, I sent the fan setup to him. While on it's way in transit, I shot Jason an email and asked for another snap switch and to send me a PP invoice for it. I accidentally cut a wire a tad too close to the switch housing (i fixed it by soldering it) but I would feel better about a new switch. totally my fault.

Jason sent me another switch no charge and also put a hand written note in the box saying "use the mount that you ordered from me".. LOL

Nice guy, super fast customer service, and a pleasure to deal with.

Thanks Jason.

I tried everything to drop the temp on my cvo street glide.
Got it down some but I wanted to keep my lower fairings for the speakers.
I got ward fans to help. Rode in stop and go traffic for 12 miles and 90 degrees that took 2 hours to get through. It got warm on my leg but not hot at all. No heat mode either. I was shocked but happy.
If these are as good as the ward fans you have a winner. I prefer the look of the ward fans better than the Jim's. They match my cvo engine color perfectly.

My HD Guru swears by his Jims fan, I was actually checking his out when I was down at the shop the other day.

He also has an oil cooler with a fan in back of it...

He says both work well individually though... and drop the oil temp quite a bit, he says there is a noticeable difference
in how the bike runs after having one or both on for a few minutes in hot conditions.

It is something I may look into for my Stage 4 103 bike
