Default Is this true?

I have a 2012 street glide I was told that if I put a screaming eagle super tuner on that I also got to change the ECM is this correct?

Incorrect...the SE Super Tuner will "flash" you ECM with the desired map or custom tune. With that said, there is no need to use a SE Tuner, or any other fuel management device, if you're keeping the bike (i.e. Exhaust & Intake) stock.

I am running the rineharts slip ons and will be taking the catalytic converter out so when I do this was goin to put the se super tuner on and have remapped

after thinking about my question, it is actually "changing" the ecm settings. the map does change, but the ecm physically doesn't. i am thinking it was a bar conversation.

The SE Tuner is only the device that is used to connect to the ECM; it does not stay on the bike like the "piggy back" fuel management systems (i.e. Power Commander).
