Default Finally! Bike back after 2 whole months!!!

Well finally got my bike all put back together after 2 months at the paint shop! Note: this started out as a 2010 road king police edition. My amazing wife works at the local Harley shop and I know most of the people that work up there. One of the guys says "i know you just got your bike in October, but you should totally get your bike painted." So long story short i get what sounds like an amazing deal for me and start taking my bike apart for paint. I went ahead and changed my front and rear fenders to the street glide style and changed my police style bags for civilian ones. So my bike was all different colors before paint. I took them to the painter who said they would be ready in 2-4 weeks. So i left it alone until the end of the 4th week and hadn't heard anything. I go by to look at it and he hasn't even gotten halfway through. So i give him another week and he says it'll be done. So the now on week 5 he has a little more done but still not finished. Im not one to get upset easily but its starting to miss me off. I let it slide for one more week and come back. He says he's done and i look at it and almost punched the guy in the face. There were runs all over it. Splatter spots all over and a few spots that where scratched. So i went to talk to his boss and bitched out him and the painter. So i told them i was taking my tins and they weren't gonna get a dime from me and that they can call my lawyer. And the boss man says if i guarantee its gonna be done by next week will you accept that? I told him if he charged me a max of 15 hours of paint and it comes out perfect I'll wait. So the next week rolls around and everything is great. Painter had logged 57 hours of work into my bike ha! I paid for 15. So got outta the paint shop for 1600. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. Even though it took 7 weeks to get it back. I got my bike all put back together that weekend and come to find out my clutch cable had broken at the adjuster nut. So ordered a new one got it put on last Saturday and finally rode it yesterday for the first time in 2 months. I was so pissed but now i can't get the smile off my face.

That's a long haul for some paint. I'm pretty sure I would have lost it, two months is ridiculous!!! Looks sweet though.
