Left today from Cleveland for a 3-day ride to Orlando. Took it easy, rode 400 miles and then stopped for the night in Corbin, KY. Tomorrow, Ill head down 75 to Knoxville and then pick up Hwy 129 and give the dragon a whirl. Planning on spending night two in Macon, GA and from there, ride on to Orlando.
The ride today was perfect, the weather was ideal, the roads were clear, and the Road King ran flawlessly I averaged 49.8 MPG! After spending a week in Orlando I do it all over again, only instead of riding Hwy 129 Ill take the Cherohala Skyway.
This is a great way to bookend a week of business meetings!
