Oh, there are 150 warnings about "Injury or death" in the manual? It seemed like more than that to me. How many "Injury or death" warnings are there plastered on the bike itself?? I believe there is one atop the "ham-can" for starters. I just spent an evening peeling mine off and cleaning up the mess!!

Always amazed how much BIG BUSINESS truly cares about MY health and welfare.

Thanks for warning me of the danger, dear MoCo.
Bubble-wrap suit, here I come.

In other news, apparently hot coffee can cause burns and birth control pills should not be inserted in your hooha. Isn't it a joy living in a litigious society?

Every warning label on any product is the direct result of a lawsuit. In my day, my first ladder came with no warnings. Have you bought a ladder recently?

Or a freakin' extension cord? Something like 5 labels with warnings in a dozen languages. I'm surprised there aren't tags on forks reading "CAUTION- DO NOT STICK IN EYE, MAY CAUSE BLINDNESS"

People in this country have a God given right to be stupid (some exercise that right more than others) and won't be denied. With most warnings, they are only good if your READ them.

My 08 manual has 110 warnings and almost as many warnings about stuff taking your eye out. ( I'm unemployed, not retired).
All these warnings made me wonder how much dealerships have to pay for liability insurance for any work done in the service dept.

Excuse me, I need to run down to the cafeteria and start my lawsuit! WOW! I'll be able to sue the fork manufacturer for not putting a warning label on and also the cafeteria for supplying me the dangerous fork. And it's in my employers building, TRIPLE SCORE!
