Does the AIM variable pressure clutch set up fit under the stock 96" derby cover or does it need the spacer? I've seen both yes and no!

It should fit. I had this setup on my '02 Road King with a stock derby cover with no problem. Its a great setup, enjoy.

I was told it works without a spacer on stock derby cover. I run a spacer but have a skull derby cover.

I have one under the stock derby cover. Adjusting the clutch becomes a little trickier, a offset box end wrench won't clear the vpc. I use a 11/16 deep well spark plug socket. I can put a wrench on the end of the socket and slip a long hex wrench down the middle.

I also have the AIM VPC under my stock derby cover. No problems whatsoever and the clutch operation is great. I also went with the standard clutch spring for a 2003 model big vtwin.
