Does anyone know of any HD dealerships that offers discounts on HD seats thru internet purchases? I am looking at the tallboy seat and the parts book shows it at $299 for a 2004 Road King Classic. Thanks for any help.
Try New Castle Harley Davidson, Lakeshore HD and Surdyke. All sell parts on-line. Usually find better prices at these sites but be sure to check the shipping costs as well.
I used to buy through Chicago HD but they discontinued it. My dealer told me Harley clamped down on discounted internet sales. Supposedly they took over all those. You can buy through your dealer but Harley centralized all distribution. Is that all true? Dunno.

Try Hale's Harley. Been buying from them for a few years now. Great group to work with. So far they haven't made any errors in parts shipped or pricing. My 1 returned part was processed with no problems and no restock fee. No tax (I am in CA). They add 5% for shipping.
They also discount Drag parts and Kuryakyn parts. I bought my TSS MasterTune from them at 20% discount. The 2 bike TTS kit was $500.

I am not sure where things stand at present. Harley also tried to stop selling by US dealers to foreign (even Canadian!) customers, as well as stopping discounts. I read somewhere that they had been challenged, but haven't heard any update.
