I finally got to take a ride with momma on my 07 street glide with new 940 progressive rear shocks installed. Wow, what a difference, she even said how much better the ride is. Any street glide owners unhappy with the ride, replace the rears, I don't care what brand, get rid of those POS air shocks. The bike handles way better, all those little jarring bumps just smoothed out. We are very happy. Later

As soon as you get a chance to ride solo, I would like to know how that feels. It would help if you can give your weight.
You sound very happy with them 2-up.

I have the 940s, I'm 240, the wife is 130, with a loaded tour pack, the springs are all the way cranked. Solo I set em at 6 turns. Really smooths out the ride.

My weight s about 210, I have ridden by myself. The ride is better, maybe a little on the stiff side. We mainly ride 2 up so that is what I was really interested in.

I am about 200 and the wife is about 180, we ride at about 3.5 lines on our 940 and the ride is great! I ride 2 up about 50% of the time and I leave my 940s at the same level all the time.....

Only down fall was after we did the 940s in the rear we realized we really needed to do the monotubes in the front.....
