Default S&S Makes me angry!!

I've posted this saga on another forum but thought I'd get insight here too.
Before winter I bought an S&S T111 motor from an online dealer I had a good relationship with. Put the motor in over the winter without any problems along with a bunch of other upgrades, and looked forward to spring to break it in and take a trip I had planned with some buds for early June.
Started break in, and at about 400 miles or so it just quit and left me stranded. After trying to diagnose the problem for days, it came down to possible broken Valve spring because S&S had a bad batch that were failing(according to them).
They kept saying " oh, just take it in and get it repaired, we'll take care of it." Well.. spring time in Alberta isn't the time to just take things in and get them taken care of (my local HD is booking service at the end of June right now) much less some thing bought online.
I stripped everything off to make it easier for whoever is going to help me with the "warranty" work and noticed a cracked valve guide.(see pics)
Anyways, S&S pisses me off because I spent a lot of dough on one of their motors that has bad valve springs, that they know about and they are not really doing a whole lot to understand my situation and help me out.
Anybody have any advise on how to deal with this?

Sounds like pull the heads, and put new guides in them, and springs.

I would call and tell S&S that you have damaged valves and that you would like new heads to take care of the problem.

Actually , I think I would call S&S and tell them to send you a new set of heads with the updated springs,(if there is an update) and some gaskets for your trouble, send the old heads back to them.
They should cover all costs for this being under warranty, sounds like a headache.

I get that it sucks but everyone has warranty issues. S & S is pretty good and will do what it takes to make it right but they aren't gonna fly a mechanic and parts to you. What would be your solution?

I guess I'm pissed that I shelled out a lot of money (to me) for a motor that, more than likely has bad valve springs known to fail. They know because they told me about them. Now, I have to take time out of my day (my working day, the days that pay for this motor) to call around to find a S&S dealer shop to fix a warranty issue, in which they have to call S&S to supply the with parts(that I assume they are not making money off) at their busiest time of year.

My solution would be, how about S&S take time out of their day and find me a shop in my area, explain the situation to said shop owner, and ask them to take care of me and the will reimburse them.
And, yes just swapping the heads out would be great (if their is no damage to the piston)

Is it just me? But the surfaces sure look like they have a lot of deposits built up for just a recently run motor.

Yes that would be the correct thing to do, but that would cost labor and you work for free since you already paid for and installed the motor.

By the way, why did you go with S&S vs. Fuel Moto vs. 120R? Sorry, don't mean to hijack.

Great, S&S sells motor(s) without regard to fixing a known problem issue??? WTF is that all about. I say that's BS.

I would be WAY pissed off too, and would expect S&S to deliver on making the fix on their dime, and locating a shop near the OP to do repair work.
