I'm thinking of trading in my 2008 V-ROD on a 2007 Street glide. The Street glide has 22,000 miles on it. How many miles are too many? Your help is appreciated
2007's are plauged with problems...first year of the 96" motor....stay clear of it unless you want to dump a few grand into it to get it to run right. 2007's do not have IDS, no heat management, crank is susceptible to run out problems, inner primary bearing issues, compensator issues, voltage regulator issues, stator issues, swing arm has play that will cause wobbles, rocker chatter due to push rods that bend easily, and that crossover pipe will roast your *****. google around and you will easily find the issues I'm talking about.

I have 86K on my '07. What are the problems you are speaking of?
I recently traded my 08 Night train in on a 07 Streetglide. I would say go for it. 22k isnt much of anything on that bike. I will tell you to give it a bit of time to get used to the SG as it is a whole different animal...good luck in your decision.
