How many of you have a different type/brand/tint windshield for different riding conditions or seasons?
Yes. 3 types, but only 1 works well... Yours damn it! I don't know why 2 folks took to a keen look at your 10" flip? But I did see when the all the bikes where lined up from the dealership door my bike did stand out(shield shape?) I don't know. Maybe a Chicago thing?
12'' windsplitter for most of the time. 15'' windsplitter for when it gets cold. i had lrs shields on my batwing and liked them, and would probably have them on my rg except you didn't have them then.....
On my Heritage... no windshield unless a multi-day trip.
On my Ultra... On a multi-day trip I use a 9" Aero. I can see over it, but if I want to (for things like bugs, cold, etc.), I can duck behind it. Around town I use an 8" LRS.
I probably don't need two on the ultra, but I got'em as I was checkin them out and they're both good pieces of gear
I've got three, a 12" clear, 8" light tint recurve, and a 4" dark smoked. I ride with the tall one in the winter, the low smoked one in July and August. The rest of the year, the 8" recurve is usually on.
