Default Aim clutch install question

Hi All,
Going to install my AIM clutch kit. I just want to be sure it can all be done through the derby cover or if I need to remove the entire primary cover. I know the directions show through the derby but I thought that was for earlier models. Any ideas on a 2008?
Thanks!
Joe

If you do not have to change the clutch spring, you can do it through the Derby cover.

Make sure the AIM is flat on the clutch assembly, and all the bolt holes are alligned, before you start screwing the bolts. Insert the lower part of the AIM under the primary cover first. This will make more sense when you are doing the work...

It is easy to do. Take your time.

Yeah did a big bore kit and cams so this should be easy. I got a heavier spring so the primary cover beds to come off. Thanks.

you may not need the spring, I would try it first with just the VPC. the VPC worked for me with 111hp and 117tq
