Flat tire solutions
I was looking more for someone who has pumped up some tires with a Slime and how it worked.

I bought my stuff at Walmart.
Here is a review by BikeWorld and they say the Airman is better, but I could not find that unit for sale anywhere.

I would recommend testing any compressor you are gonna haul with the power source you plan to use in the event you have a flat. You do not need to be blowing fuses on side of the road while you are trying to fix a flat. I have mine set up so it will connect to the battery tender leads. The Slime unit comes with multiple solutions to connect to power.
Past experience with these little compressors...I was given one of these small portable compressors in a road side emergency kit as safety award from work. I hauled it in my truck tool box. I was hunting with a couple of my buddies and one had a flat on his 4 wheeler. I hooked the compressor up and set it on top of my tool box to pump up his tire. 2 minutes later I looked up and it was a molten ball of plastic with flames but still running. Still, I have a place on the top of my tool box that has some plastic in it.
Test run the any compressor before you load it in your saddle bags. Nothing is gonna **** you off more, than if haul that thing for years and when you got to have it, the thing runs about 30 seconds and self destructs. Most of them are not for continious duty units but you want it to work when you need it.
I think you might get what you pay for on these small compressors...I want it to work if I am gonna haul it around.
One more thing I would recommend buying a new tube of rubber cement for the plug kit every year before riding season. You do not want to need the plug kit and your rubber cement is dried up from hauling it 5-6 years.
I opened the tube I had in the kit to fix my flat and have already replaced it with a brand new tube.
There are a lot of different kits and ways to plug a tire...look around and find you that is suited for you. This one worked for me, and I had been hauling it for 5 years.
I hope none of you ever need a kit at all, but if you do, this might keep you from sitting on the side of the road for hours waiting on some roadside service or a friend with a trailer.
