Mine works perfecty. Just keep the RPM in a reasonable range so that you aren't lugging it. The down load lowers the minimum useable RPM by 300 or so RPM. Buy the bike and ride it, a lot.

In the last couple of weeks I have tried to get my 07 SG to have all of the problems everyone else is complaining about, to no avail. No noise, no clatter, no whine, but I do have to keep putting premium gasoline in it. I feel cheated. Think I'll go back to my dealer.

I look at my sportster and think that all the time. Nothin like a sporty. It takes alot of bike to compare. Just your simple eligent,classic looking. Its perfect for a get around town and back-up bike. got to have back-up!

Yes, have the vibration problem between 2400-3000rpm at any gear
The dealer said that because I put some V&H pipe....BS.
Problem with crank or flywheel but don't want to look at it.
Afraid to find other problem......hahah!!! Stupid

Two issues repaired under warranty.
1. Rear cylinder base O-ring leaked. Dealer replaces both front and rear rings.
2. Cruise control quit working. Dealer found loose connection at module (after 4 trips to shop).
Otherwise this bike runs like a champ. Just returned from a 1000 mile trip with 0 issues.
