Why would you want to? If you're travelling in a state with a mandatory lid law and you don't have a DOT sticker, you're subjecting yourself to some possible unwanted heat.
I guess a better question would be how can one get a replacement sticker. My DOT sticker was chipped some and when i was cleaning my lid some of it pealed off. It's a Harley helmet I wonder if I can go to them for assistance.

I am not sure about all state laws, most police officers are not going to pull you over because they do not see it, BUT what I can tell you is if you do get pulled over for something else, they may ask to see your helmet at least that is what happened to a buddy of mine in So California and yes he did get ticketed.
