Default Modified Cat/ more engine noise
I modified my cat and put on V&H Monster Ovals. Heat is GONE and the pipes sound great but, and I dont know if I didnt notice it as much before, but since I made the change there seems to be more engine noise. At idle and when I rev it or when just starting out, it is an exhaust sound that sounds Tinny. Once the but gets going it seems to not be as bad but, just seems louder now after the change.

Anyone know what the hell Im talking about? or am I gone over the deep end?

If you did a stage 1 upgrade with free flowing breather that will make the bike more noisy. When I had my softail I noticed it

I only did the pipes so far, I am saving up for the rest of the Stage 1 mod.

Exhaust leak at the exhaust ports from when you removed and reinstalled your pipes??

I was thinking this too but, I cranked down on the bolts pretty good. Are the gaskets supposed to line up a certain way (opening in the oring)?

Checked them too and they are all tight. It is coming from around the front exhaust port area
