Photo - c here too, usually my, or in this case, your (love them) shields are so covered in bugs that whatever it is coated with the effect goes away pretty quickly. Also the rain comes up over the top of the shield enough, would rather it goes around the sides or something like that. Just a thought.

I'd pick one with both features

 

So you can use Rain-X on the windshield. I had a guy tell me that you can't because the HD windshield is plastic. What do you use to wash it? Microfiber cloth and soapy water?

 

Rain X for me also, never had tinted, though.
