im not ditching the subs . i have loud lids with 6.5 . thinking about a different look and think i will get a better sound from 6x9 s
I roll with a crowd that has tried almost everything audi-wise on a bike. A buddy ran 6 X 9 subs for a couple of weeks, but didn't really like te tone of them. Pulled them back out and put the Pioneer Premiers back in.
I like my bass with more of a PUNCH than a low level vibration. Besides,..........subs that small, aren't a true representation. If you check the numbers,................you'll see where the sound range on the smaller subs , doesn't go as low as some 6 X 9's.
I installed the Cycle Sounds Lids w/ Polk Audio MM691 speakers. I am changing my set-up and have listed them on Ebay for $675. Already painted Vivid Black - ready for someone to install. Lids unpainted are $389, speakers are $180, paint can vary of course...
