Looks like you got lucky , if it didn't trash the oil pump , I would, get the new hydro cam plate ,and tensioners, which comes with a higher volume oil pump, and some cam bearings at least , and put er back together.

I've bought the new screaming eagle cam plate w/ new high volume oil pump. I also bought a cam install kit. Time to put it back together and see how it does

The bad spot in the oil pump, just curious how bad it is.

I doubt it will be clear in the pic. I can feel the scratches with my fingernail. Doesn't look that bad but I guess it's just enough. I'll try to get some

Got her back together. Oil pressure is the most it's ever been. Not to bad of a job overall just tight in a few areas. Thanks for all the info. Here are a few pics

Yep that would do it, did you buy timken cam bearings? They seem to last a lot longer than stock ones.
Are you doing the work yourself, or is someone doing it for you?

I got the cam install kit from the dealer so whatever was in there. I don't think they are though. I did all the work myself. Never tore into one of these motors but had to do it myself plus I like wrenching on my own stuff
