It is dropping down to 600 rpm idle, after warming up. The thing is, it don't do it everytime. It almost dies sometimes and other times it idles just fine. Did a 763 mile ride a couple of weeks ago, and it was around 90 degrees and the rear crashbars got to hot to put my hands on them(I do this to stretch when riding for a while, one hand at a time). Also seems like the seat got a lot hotter than normal. Not sure that has anything to do with the tune, or what? I have had the bike for 5 yrs and put over 70,000 miles on it and have never noticed the heat being that bad before.
Also, the person I talked to at the dealer was the service mgr. I figured he was full of crap, they seem to change them at that dealership often.

The sevice manager is not the one that does the tune. That's what we are all saying.
If you can't talk to the dyno guy then please find somewhere else.

I have to use a different dealership to dyno, because my local shop doesn't have one.

Thanks, I got that from the post. Was just clarifying who I think it was I spoke with. The two local dealerships are owned by the same people, but only one has a dyno.

+1, should be able to tune them separately. What others have said, I'd talk to actual tech that's tuning the bike and make sure. If that's still what he said, I'd go somewhere else

I told my local stealer I was buying a PCIII and I asked for a price to have him check if my ECM had been flashed when the previous owner installed SE Air cleaner and V&H slip ons. He told me that if I installed a PCIII, they wouldn't work on the bike, even for an oil change. My bike hasn't been to a stealer while I've been the owner.

That's my same situation, my local store is their sister store. The main store 75 miles away has the dyno and the dude who can tune a bike right.

Default Most dealer tuners are either lazy or in a big hurry

They seldom take the time to tune both front and rear cylinders. They stick the sniffer into the tailpipe and do a few pulls on the throttle and 'PRESTO' there's your tune. Mine came with no way to read the AFR except off the sheet. No separate numbers for the rear cylinder on the laptop either, only one set for both. It even pinged when I rode it home. I took it back a few days later and they (said they ran it again) and no problems. Ya right. I called Jamie at FM and ordered an AT and he sent me a map that ran way better.
