Default Three Year Storage Question

I'm gonna have to store my RK for about three years. I had to have all the fluids drained before I shipped it back to the States from Europe. The battery was also taken out and done away with. I will get the bike soon, and it will be taken out of the shipping crate. I won't be able to ride it for around three years. Should I just leave it like it is, or should I put all the fluids back in, a battery, and crank it up from time to time? Thanks.

If it was me I would put fluids back in it, make sure all fuel is drained out of the tank and lines, keep the tires off of the ground, and just let it sit. Just starting it up every so often and not really running it will do more harm then good.

normally i would agree with ^ but for 3 years internal rust from condensation,i would look at fogging it,or running it at least once a year and running it good long and hot to burn off moisture.normal oil will drain down, with fogging?i think u use a really sticky stuff and spray through the spark plugs.

Where ya headed from Germany? My guess is Japan. I shipped mine and paid the $1500 to have it inspected and licensed. Best $$ I ever spent.
