GPS recommendations
Comes with software to load on your computer, then you can map out where you want to go and where you want to stop. Load the routes into your GPS and off you go. Used it on a four day trip and loved it.
The only thing I disliked about it was the cable lengths where to long and there isn't a way to quickly take the mounting bracket off the bike. Ended up cutting the main power cable and putting connectors on both ends so I could plug/unplug the unit when not using it.
Rather than spend a ton of money on one unit, I spent a fraction of the cost. Figured if it was stolen or broken it would still be cheaper to replace than buy one of the more expensive units.
Haven't set it up on the SG yet.
I like sattilite radio. But XM pissed me off long story.
Gps is pretty awesome. I have the kyrakyn fuel door mount. I like it that it is centered on the motorcycle. The wires are a little bit of a pain at full ups but I got used to it...
Good luck!!

I use a GPSMap76CSX on my bike, in my truck and to carry with me when I'm in the bush (mostly for hunting).. I'm very happy with it.
It uses AA batteries, rather than an internal battery... BIG bonus when I'm in a hunt camp with NO Hydro... I take 6-8 batteries and I'm good for 2 weeks. (I use rechargeable AA's)
BUT if all you want is a GPS for the bike, and cost is not a consideration then ********DO NOT buy a 600 series ZUMO********....
I was at Americade, and the Garmin booth was showing the 600 series replacement - the Zumo 350LM (avail. 3rd quarter 2012)
According to the person working the booth (who claimed to be a Garmin engineer who worked on the Montana and now the 350)... it is a total upgrade to the 600 series...
Faster processor, better everything... new software... etc.
and it's only supposed to be $50 over the 665...(https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=135&pID=107979)
(of course the price for the 600's will definitely be going down in the near future, if you want to pick one up cheaper than they are now)
So like I said originally - it totally depends on what you want it to do and what you expect from it...
Me personally, for my needs, if I were buying today - I would buy the Montana...
