Drilling out Baffles

Drilling out Baffles
For those that have drilled out their baffles, do I use a 1 1/2 or a 1 3/4 inch hole saw. Did a search on the threads and some said one and some said the other.
If I use the 1 3/4 it is a tight fit and it looks like have I have to drill out about 1 - 2" length of the baffle. Is that correct?
BTW, this is on a 2012 SG.

If I recall....It is 1 3/4" That will take out just enough of the weld that holds the baffle in place. Then just file it clean and then shoot it with some flat black spray paint and it's all good. And try to shop vac out some of the metal flakes. Worked well for me.

Yup I played with my stock pipes awhile back and thats exactly what I did. You still have the cat in the header correct? I askt because if you dont, I dont think your going to like the sound. If you do, it should sound tamer.
