Default Changing Grips Question

Changed the grips last night. Everything seems to go on fine but the throttle grip will move just a little bit side to side now. Not sure if it used to do that and I just noticed or if it is a new issue. Everything is tightened back up and torqued.

Anyone else have the same issue?

Throttle grips slides out with very little persuation unlike clutch side which usually have some glue of sorts that keep it on tightly. My throttle grips doesn't move any at all but I can pull it off easily.

The HD aftermarket grips go on snugly, but I have heard that several other brands have a bit of play on the throttle side. I went for the HD.

Its supposed to have a little play, it twists around the 1" bar if its too tight it will hang up then youll have other issues.

I have the stock grips on my RKC and I have a little play in my throttle grip. It's always been there - thought it was normal.

Ok sounds like it's normal. They are HD grips, not aftermarket. The play is only side to side and very slight.

It is really easy. Will need a knife to cut off the clutch grip and a torque wrench to put them back together. Takes 10 minutes total max.
