I don't like the heel shifter, so I took it off and bought the H-D $16 chrome cover to put over the shifter shaft. Looks good, but now I want to move the toe shifter out to end of shaft to take advantage of that three quarters of an inch. So what can I use for spacer that looks half way decent after I move the toe shifter out to end of shaft??
Found this Kuryakyn part called a heel shift lever eliminator. It's a chrome spacer/bushing. I installed it tonight and it works fine; and looks good (my opinion). The part# for this is 401168. However, I went to Kuryakyn's website and can't find it. Anyway, it's $25 (yes, it cost too much, I know). I bought it at a Harley shop.
Attached are before and after pics. The one on the left is the "before" pic, the other 3 are "after" pics.
