The short ride would have been shorter if you got the short end of the stick and took a short fall with your shorts on during the short ride.
I've been riding with shorts for a couple years now, and do whenever I can with the weather. I figure a pair of jeans is not gonna save your *** if you go down anyway and most people will ride with a T-shirt without any concern for their arms , so why not your legs. You do have to watch out for the pipes , since the jeans would give you a little help there. Chris
