They bolt right on, you might have to adjust the brackets though.
I swapped from RK Custom leather bags to hard bags, the only difference
on my 05 was the use of spacers behind the brackets, which I took off for
the hard bags, as they didn't line up very well.
1/4" spacers on front, and 1/2 on the rear. Not sure if all years did this with the leather bags.
