Which is best for increased torque?
Is it two in one; or headers?
I've heard from both sides of the aisle from my "knowledgeable" friends -
Now I need to hear from the experts!
I certainly cannot claim to be an expert, but I can say, my research suggests that more often than not, a two in one produces more torque. However a lot of factors come into play. I have had a couple D & D Fatcats and they really do perform. Just my .02. Good luck.
I agree with that and can give you a comparison with true-duals. I had them on my current bike for a couple of years, then changed to a SuperTrapp Supermeg 2-into-1. Had them both set up on the dyno by the same tuning shop. I lost 1HP with the 2-into-1, but gained 15% low/mid range torque! In addition the bike is much smoother and sweeter running, so I am extremely pleased with the later set-up. Strongly recommend it!
