Throttle Adjustment?
What is the process for adjusting the throttle to make it more responsive. Former owner added avon style grips but the throttle has to be turned significantly before there is any change in RPM from idle. This creates 2 issues: 1: the part of the grip that hits the heel of my hand is turned too for from horizontal to be of any use and 2: I have embarrassingly stalled the bike at stops lights on 3 occassions because I started easing on the throttle and letting out the clutch at the same time but because I have to roll the throttle so much before the RPMs climb I have released the clutch too much and I stall it. Bike is in sig.

I'm not gonna try to figure out info on your bike, tell us what you have.
easier for you to type it out than me( us) to click through a bunch of pages and back to your thread to reply

If you have a 2009 [as in your signature] then you have throttle by wire. The only way this can be adjusted is with a tuner. I have a TTS tuner for my 09. It has a throttle blade section that will adjust the throttle reaction time.
my apologies, Bike specs added to OP. I will take a look at repositioning the throttle boss. This will help when cruising but wont do any thing for the responsivness of the throttle. What does the star shaped finger adjustment on the underside of the throttle/front brake lever do?
