Hey guys, I will be doing the batwing to shark nose fairing swap (it will be a while as I piece it altogether...money issues, meaning...lack of LOL).
I did a quick search, but is there any differences in the fairings throughout the years 98-to present? Are the newer ones (2010-2012), any sleeker than the older ones. Everything I come accross states from '98 to present. I just want to make sure.
Sounds right. There was a difference with the mounting angle on various models. For example, my 09 fairing is tipped back a bit when compared to my 03. The newer RGU fairing seems to be tipped forward (like the 03) when compared to my 09 RG.

Mounts are the only difference.... the actual fairings are the same. If you want lowers, go with the 2010 and up mounts.
The other thing is, all the envy that the Shark fairing will get from your friends. They will try to hide it by making fun of you..... but secretly they will be Jones'ing to have one too.

Coo, thanks. This is the type of info I'm looking for. Can anyone else chime in?
