oil pump ? ,installing hydraulic cam chain tensioner and cams
ok understand oil pump has to be centered on the crank, dont have the tappered bolts(or manual), do you really need those? way it was expained to me is to put oil pump on crank, push it in once aligned, then put cam plate on, run the bolts for the oil pump, just snug, then bolts for cam plate, torque them down to specs, back off the oil pump bolts a bit, take plugs out, which are all ready out, bump the motor while tighening down the bolts 1234 in order to what ever torque, dont know off top of my head right now, or if thats wrong , can someone give me the procedure, many thanks in advance. bike is 06 SG

that should work rotate the motor a few times before tightening bolts worse thing is yo have to take the cover back off if you start throwing oil into the filter and align it again, get the tapered pins, they're cheap and handy

Put in 4th gear with rear wheel off ground. Take plugs out and rotate rear wheel while alternately tightening #1 and #2 bolts. You should see some oil come out of the oil hole and center of crank while the pump finds its natural center. Don't need the pins.
