Installing the Coyote Quick Disconnect fuel fitting
Any problems with just cutting the existing cross-over fuel line and inserting the quick disconnect? On my 07 Ultra, the cross-over fuel line is a black braided fuel line. I would only need to buy 2 fuel line clamps and walla, all done.

No problems at all. Just make sure you have something to catch the fuel before you cut the line. Even if you siphon as much as possible, you'll still have some fuel in there.
You'll have to cut the crimps as well, otherwise you won't get the line off of the nipples from the tank. That's what I had to do anyway.

I'm not planning to take the fuel lines off the tank nipples. After what fuel drains after cutting the fuel line, I will insert the quick dis-connect with two new clamps. I just don't see any need to replace the black braided fuel line that is already there.
