Just after 1 pm today, I am in my garage getting my tour pak disassembled so that I can take it and my gas tank to the body shop for some piant. My EG Classic is against the back wall, stripped down looking lonely and pathetic. My cell phone rings and it's my bud. He says "It's over 40, wanna go for a ride?".
I said, "I'd love to but my bike is all apart".
"No problem", he says. "Come on over and take out the 1100 Yamaha. Not too many more days we can ride".
I says "Are you serious?"
"Yup" he says, "come on down."
So I stopped what I was doing, grabbed my gear and took off. It was a great afternoon of riding. I may not have been on my 'LectraGlide, but I was on 2 wheels. Temps were cool, but I was dressed and it was dry.
Work plant maint. mostly outside it is hard to stay focused on nice day like today, but my bike is having repairs done hope to get it back Sat. sometime so I might get to ride on Sunday. I also ride year round. Suppose to be a beautiful weekend in Harleyville, SC in the 70's
