I did not use "Harley" paint. Told the guy it was Vivid black and he said he was familar with the color. It matches perfectly.
About mirror holes. The street Glide faring has them. I believe the ultra does not. Can someone who is sure clear this up?
I agree it is a great mod. It took a little time to find a faring at a good price but it sure beat paying $500 or more to get one.
I let a buddy have my take-offs to have painted. When he swaps his out I will have his to sell. His is a 2011 Street Glide. I will sell them to recoup my money. $110 + shipping.
I'll play along...
I bought one from a guy who had an ElectraGlide, so it had no mirror holes. I've seen dozens of painted inner fairings that originally had the mirror holes. And every one of them looked just like what they were... covered mirror holes. A lot of E-Glides and Ultras don't have the mirror holes.
My painted inner-fairing is one of my favorite mods I've done to my bike. Maybe that's because I'm sitting right behind it, every mile I ride.

Shame the MoCo only paint the inners on CVOs ! ....would love to have had the option. Anymore two -tones out there ? Sorry for the hijack, but really would like to see some 2 color options.
If you order a painted inner fairing from the factory they come with out the mirror hole and a templet for drilling them out if you want them. Great mod. To do.
