Default Changing out slip-ons.

Looks like my VH Twin Slash slip-ons have shipped. When I change them out do i need to replace the clamps or the gaskets. Looks like a fairly simple task. Just want to have everything neccessary for the install. Thanks for any advice.

V&H will ship new clamps with the slip ons. The hardest part is getting the old ones off. Just keep wiggling and pulling.

yup, new clamps. As Armstronges said, V&H does ship with new clamps. IMO they look just like the HD clamps you would buy at your dealer. Probably coming out of the same factory?

enjoy your new pipes!

+1 on the hardest part. Use a good rubber mallet. Also, be sure to clean the new pipes VERY well and dry them to avoid discoloring the new pipes once they are on. V&H gives good step by step directions with the package.

Enjoy!
