New Guy with 23" Tire question
Hello all,
I have been a long time reader, and recently set up an account. I am looking at getting a Road Glide in the near future. (This is not going to be the usual "what year is best" post BTW....) What question I had is to the guys and ladies that have a 23" tire in the front of their bike and travel allot. I like the look of it but was curious what do you do if you have a flat? I was thinking you could carry a can of Fix A Flat to get it rolling again so you could get it to a place to get it changed, but then what? Joe Blows Garage Shop isnt going to have a tire you need to replace it. You cant carry one with you to hand him.
So, should I be worried / concerned about this or is this something, you people that have it, have in the back of your minds or not? I dont want to go this route and possibly have problems. I know the factory size tire can do the same thing, but it is more likely easily changed out in the middle of nowhere. After this hurdle, is the bottoming out and hitting the fender to the fairing .
