I'm considering buying the PBR300X4 based on all the positive reviews here. I do have a question though. I have an '03 FLHT with the stock 2 channel radio. If I run the amp with the 2 channel inputs from the radio, will it send out a 4 channel output so I can run bag lid speakers along with the fairing speakers? Or will I be running the amp in 2 channel bridged? I'm not getting the lid speakers for a while yet, but I want to buy an amp that I can grow with.
I also ordered the ARC 6.5" speaker adapters. Any clearance issues with running either the Polk DB651 or the DXI650's? I'm not sure about sticking the tweeters in the gauge holes with separates, so I'm thinking of going with coax.
The amp will take two channel inputs and provide 4 channel outputs, provided the inputs go to the "front" inputs and the 2ch/4ch switch on the amp is set to "2ch."
Don't know about the fitment of the speakers you're considering.
Ok, cool, thanks for the reply. Will there be any trouble running the amp to just the fairing speakers using the front outputs only, or would you bridge it?
