If it was off a carb'd motor yes....but Ive been told EFI and fuel additives make it tough to read lean AFRs by the plug. I think it means lean, but.......

If those plugs were in my race car they would be lean.

Yes they look lean for a 2010 Street Glide per the Indy that Dynoed my 2011. Nice 59 Impala by the way!

I do have an occasional loud pop when I shift. I'm thinking I need a nightrider.com harness plug.

Thanks for the compliment on my 59.

The XIED worked fine for awhile on my bike until It started to ping and there's no way to manipulate the timing with them. While I had my VIED on the bike, my plugs didn't look much different than what your showing in the pic. Try to get one used from a member if you can.

to read a plug properly, 1st warm motor with old plugs, then install new plugs then the bike needs ridden to 3rd gear or higher with a full throttle run then pull the clutch and kill motor. pull plugs and look at them then. pulling plugs and trying to read after a normal cruise really doesn't tell you much about your tune.

the process is called plug chopping.
