Does yours have ABS? On ABS bikes the lines go from the master cylinder to the ABS module, then to the spliter under the triple tree, then down to the calipers.
Yes, I have ABS. It was a year ago and memory fades but now that you mention it it makes sense that it would have to go from the MC to ABS first.
Maybe this condition applied because I am pretty sure I only had to change the upper and it was not to much $.

Help needed to ID this type of ABS Manifold/cables
Hello, I am trying to ID my brand of manifold for my 09 Road King Classic... I want to replace the lower cables to the calipers but I can't find the correct type of chrome braided hose and fitting that will be plug and play. Check out the photo #1 and 2.
I ordered the magnumshielding lower assy but it rises behind the triple tree and gets pushed against the frame in front of the tank. I don't trust this set up as it may weaken the braised connection where the upper hose (to BCU) attaches to the manifold under the triple tree (solid tubing). See picture #3.
I know the fittings are not an3 type but appear to be crimped... any suggestions as to what hoses/fittings they could be... I have tried on other 'HD forums' with no luck - Surely someone can offer some advice!
