YES!!!!!!! My harley boots with zipper broke on me!!! Harley does have 2 styles of zippers they use in their books. I had the small, thin zipper.(that broke). My next pair will be with the larger, thicker zipper. Hopefuilly that will solve my problem.

Both my girlfriend and I have the HD zipper boots. Two months later,I had to have a cobbler put heavy duty zippers put in. Then the zipper would keep sliding down as I rode. Back to the cobbler who put a snap across the top to keep the zipper up. No problems since then. Boots are really comfortable and worth the changes I had to make to them.

Working on my third pair, they are very comfortable so I wear them everyday as work boots as well as riding boots. I have never had a problem with the zippers and find they make for easy on/off.

My wife and I have zippers in our Harley boots.
They aren't any problem.
As mentioned though when it is cold the air does go through the zippers even with chaps over top.
Have to wear heavier socks.

Had a pair of the Interstate boots - zippers (not actually the zipper, but the fabric holding the zipper) failed after a couple years. Suggest you spray the zipper with silicon couple times/year.

Dunno. Should zippers be on boots?
