I layed my ultra classic down on gravel on Wednesday. Broke my right ankle. Waiting to see the bone doctor. Seems like it takes forever to get in. Lucky no damage to the bike, just Mr.
I dunno about lucky, I'd rather walk away from a totaled bike then have broken ankle. I hope you heel up fast and true. Sorry to hear of your misfortune.
Ouch! Gravel Sux... Sand on blacktop too... had more than a few "ALMOSTS"!!!
Sorry about yur ankle, take yur time, heal strong/straight, and yu'll be back B/4 yu know it!
Speedy recovery is right. And very glad that's the worst of it.
There seems to be a lot of these recently. Everyone be careful out there!!!
Ain't that the truth. I can't believe I am one of them.
I hope everybody is safe, especially around this crazy holiday time So much drinking going on and people being stupid. Please be safe my brothers and sisters.
Cheese & rice!! That's four of us since last Sunday that I can remember reading about. Careful boys & girls, you don't wanna be next! I hope you too have a speedy recovery!
Oh man, sorry about the ankle. It's good that the bike is okay but a broken body is no fun. I hope you get into the doctor's and find a path to quick healing.
I did it about two weeks ago on my RK. I was going to a buddies house who lives on a dirt road off of a dirt road. After alot of recent rain there was alot of lose sand. I laid it on its side going real slow. No damage to the bike or me other than being laughed at when they had to help me stand it back up. In my own defense I had seven stiches in my right forearm and couldnt lift much weight with it.
