Bought ultra limited with the 103. Did a stage one which included V and H power duals, SE breather, and the power vision tuner. Added fork wind deflectors, fork baffle and lower windshield. Had pinging problems and Jamie at Fuel Moto sent me a new map but still pings. I'm using the same fuel on my other bike, a 08' RK with a stage one using a SERT, it is fine and never pinged. I think the problem is with the power vision. Does anyone have a similar problem?
Had to have my 09 retuned after pinging started. I have the 103 Big Bore kit and use the sert as a tuner. Your problem probably is your tuner. Have it dynoed.........

+1. Nothing replaces a dyno. A lot of factors go into a tune. A map might get you close but a dyno will get it spot on. I had the same problem.

All the Power Vision does is put new values into the ECM. So if you have ping, something is not correct in the tune that is in the ECM. First step is to insure that the Fuel Moto tune from the PV is successfully loaded into the bike's ECM. If that's the case, the next step is to figure out why the Fuel Moto tune is not correct and make appropriate changes. There's ways to do that yourself by using the PV to log actual performance data, then analyze the numbers. It's not a trivial exercise which is why people go to professionals who do this for a living. If you want to get into tuning with the PV there's a huge thread on this forum in the Electrical/Ignition/Tuner/ECM/Fuel Injection section.

I have a similar set up. Jackpot 2-1-2, fuel moto a/c, power vision and rinehart 4" mufflers. Pinging only under hard accerlation right about 3800 rpm and seems to stop after 4200-4500. Called Jamie and he'said he'll send another map. We'll have to see if that works.
Anyone in Arizona dyno with power vision not looking for most HP just get running at its best It is really hot here and getting ping at cruise roll on
Try Desert Custom Cycles in Mesa. They might be able to, they have a Dyno.
I have a power Vision on my Limited, stage 1 and Jackpot header. I bought the power vision to get rid of the ping, still had a ping, added a not cat header and still had a ping with a new map. Jamie's maps would ping before and after the header. He even sent me some new maps to eliminate pinging. I was able to get to ping problem resolved by doing some tuning runs using the log in power vision and update the map. I am a very happy camper now as far as pinging. It is over 100 in AZ now.
