About a week ago I had the stage 1 done. The OEM header was replaced with the Fuelmoto 2-1-2 header. Along with the other mods, the bike was tuned.
One of the things I was expecting is the reduction of heat. While it's certainly not at the level that it was when the OEM header was installed, it is still giving off a large amount of it. A few days ago I was riding around with the old lady and she actually started to complain about it. I could also feel it right under my thigh.
Was I being unrealistic around how much heat will be removed after the upgrades? Or is something wrong on my bike?
Simple fix..you need a crotch cooler. There is nothing wrong with your bike. You are sitting on top of an air cooled motor and they run hot..Do a search and you will see that we have a lot of very satisfied customers. If we can be of any help just let us know..

While I can see how the crotch cooler will protect my crotch, my concern is that the heat is more of an area effect. I can feel it under my thigh and it's really bad in the area of where my wife puts her foot (the passenger foot rest).
I was hoping to get some general feedback but I guess I'm the only one who is experiencing this issue.
