You built your own Switchback. Someone from the MOCO must have been paying attention.
Funny you should say that about the MOCO. There was a MOCO engineer at the rally. He spent a lot of time looking my bike over on more than one occasion. Maybe we will see a new sportster touring model in the future.
I remember learning to ride on a Sporty because none of us could afford anything else. If you had anything bigger we assumed you were rich! Good looking bike, glad to see others appreciate it as well.
Still have the factory gas tank? I've never ridden a Sportster but the rumor is only about 100 miles between gas stops. For touring, a little more range is nice.
You might as well go ahead and put a detachable Bat Wing on it to complete the look. Then you will have more protection from the elements and some nice tunes too.
Really? It takes a little bit more than hard saddle bags and a windshield to make a touring Harley. All day riding comfort for yourself and your wife / girlfriends with air adjustable shocks, full fairings, hard lowers, cruise controls, ABS brakes, etc. etc.

A BIG Thanks! I am glad some of you get it. No, it does not ride like the "true" baggers but it does the job for me. Eighty-five percent of my riding is in town or short trips. Now I know you are thinking... why the bags if most of my riding is short distances. Well the answer is I am a lady with stuff to carry around. So the bags are like bigger purses! Also, a "true" bagger would not suit me well. My ride fits my short and smaller stature and puts a smile on my face. That is enough for me. Anyway, here are two pictures....Enjoy your rides and be safe!
Congrats to you! Innovation and uniqueness will always win shows.
I get it....that's why I went to a lighter and faster bike...especially for solo riding - real fun
You ought to hear them when you say a V Rod Road Rod wins a show!

I think it looks great. I can see where the bags would come in handy for everyday riding for a lady.
Well done!
Now go pick up a couple steaks and some beer at the market! j/k
