Hi all,
Lady friend of mine use to ride a 1200 stretched Sportster w/ a windshield, forward controls and leather bags. She rode it to Sturgis (almost 900 miles each way) every year and always did side trips coming home. She would go 450 a day. I will say she is young (35) and thats got to help. To me riding is riding and enjoy your sweet little bagger......goldie
BTW: She did just get an 03 RKC pearl white, 95", lowered and all decked out. She looks good on that as well :-)
Still have the factory gas tank? I've never ridden a Sportster but the rumor is only about 100 miles between gas stops. For touring, a little more range is nice.
The bike has a 4.5 gallon tank. While I stop every 100 miles I do not have to for gas up purposes.
