I have a '07 and even with the holeadjustment it wasn't quite enough for my wife so I bought the HD adjustable rear floorboard mounts and that took care of things. Probably gives 3.5 inches of adjustment with a allen wrench.
On our first ride I adjusted them all the way up and then made adjustments downafter a few stops and got 'em exactly where she wanted them.
The adjustable 50789-99A brackets fit the 07 Ultra with stock bag setup, correct? The reason I ask is they don't show up in Accessories catalog for 07's.
Thanks,
TE
I think Kuryakyn also sells a peg/bracket that allows you to mount another peg higher for the shorties or just for the passenger to have another option for their feet.
My wife didn't complain about the saddlebag guards, but the old metal grab handles that were on the sides of the passenger's seat. They have disappeared for the 07's and now just have a strap across the seat.
Also, please look into the Kuryakyn adjustable passenger foot pegs, they are a blessing for the passenger.
If your dealer didn't know that the floorboard was adjustable, he must be dumber than dirt! I sure wouldn't take the bikeback there for service! Who knows what he would screw up.
Just to defend my own dealer the guy that told me the floorboards were not adjustable was a dealer rep at the HD booth at the Toronto Motorcycle Show, not my dealer.
