I'm happy as a pig in mud. I finally took delivery of my 07 FLHX on 12/26/06. I've been adding some goodies and getting her ready for her debut. Now if the snow and ice would melt so I can ride, it's driving me nuts. Thanks to all who comment and make the forum what it is today. This forum was a tremendous help when it came time for me to upgrade from my V-rod. Looking forward to learing more from the forum and working on my new scoot!!!!!!
I ordered a 4" windshield from www.fastaire.com and cut it down to 2 inches. This is my first bike with a faring, so still coming to grips with it. I came off of bikes with no farings or windshield so it's going to take some getting used too.
No excuse for not rideing brother I see pavement .Congratuation on the new 96.It,s snowing here now. I had to get Myble in the snow and ended up pushhing her in the garage, never do that again.
AHHH!! Nice, I remember when mine looked like that. A clean new ride just waiting for the money to start pouring over it! Funny how involved you get making it your bike.
